Welcome to the HKIAC .cn Domain Name Dispute Resolution Website

Welcome to the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre's (HKIAC) .cn domain name dispute resolution website.

As of 30 September 2002, the HKIAC has been approved by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) to be one of the .cn domain name dispute resolution centres. .CN disputes handled by the HKIAC are governed by the CNNIC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (CNNIC DRP) and the Rules for CNNIC Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (CNNIC DRP Rules) approved for implementation by CNNIC on 17 March 2006 as well as the Supplemental Rules to China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) adopted by the HKIAC with effect from 30 September 2002. The Administrative Proceeding process will be based only on the documents provided by the parties with an in-person hearing occurring only in exceptional cases.

Domain name disputes administered by the HKIAC can be filed and handled by e-mail, fax and/or post. The necessary forms for filing a Complaint or submitting a Response can be downloaded by clicking on "Submit Complaint Form" and "Submit Response Form".

In order to be of further assistance there is Flow Chart of Proceedings showing the various stages of a .cn domain name dispute resolution proceeding, as well as a series of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) and answers thereto, which hopefully will be useful to you.

If you have any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to communicate with the HKIAC Domain Name Case Administrator by e-mail, fax or phone at the e-mail address, fax and telephone numbers provided on this site.

The Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre looks forward to being of service to you.
